Rainbow Families - Scratch Beneath the Surface

On the surface, Rainbow Families sounds and seems like a great organisation, but when you scratch beneath the surface, disturbing details are revealed.

I began uncovering some of those details in my research, and you can read about that here. Barely a week after writing that blog, I have learned about another disturbing detail regarding Rainbow Families and their role within the transgender industry and lobby.

As you can see, Rainbow Families is behind a two year, $20,000 project which, amongst other issues, advocates for the use of the term “chest-feeding” in place of breastfeeding, which has been adopted by the Australian Breastfeeding Association (ABA),

This is what the Rainbow Families website has to say about this “project.”

I have previously pointed out how manipulation is key to the success of devious groups like Rainbow Families, and the above image is a great example. They claim that the World Health Organization (WHO) recommends all children are fed “human milk” exclusively for the first six months of life. I clicked the provided hyperlink and found this (below image).

The WHO website clearly states, “infants should be breastfed for the first six months of life,” and also uses the universal term “mothers” in relation to just who is doing the “breastfeeding.” This tactic of the trans lobby - manipulation of facts and language - is frustrating.

Rainbow Families has received funding from the Vashudara Foundation and Lush Cosmetics to support their efforts surrounding “chest feeding,” and the ABA is apparently fully supporting this attack on mothers and breastfeeding.

1) Why is a cosmetic brand involved in a campaign (attack) against mothers?

2) Why is the ABA involved in this attack when they seemingly have not had one single issue with any of the terms “mother,” “pregnant women” or “breastfeeding” for many years.

3) Who is behind the Vashudara Foundation and what interest does this private investment fund have with this attack on mothers?
