I recently began researching The Equality Project and learned that, much like Denton’s, this company has infiltrated many levels of our society; political, economic, cultural, social and more. This company has a clear agenda - one they even touch on as seen on their website.

There are a few points that must be made here.

First - regarding the first image and their vision…what does that even mean? Affirm?! Full citizens?? I could really dig into this, but there are more important points to make.

The Equality Project have seemingly outed themselves as not knowing how to remain socially and politically relevant after Australian same-sex attracted adults finally received the right to marry their significant other. I am compelled to address what their unjustified concern about suddenly being irrelevant means in relation to the addition of the “QIA” and the “+” to LGBT, and the timing of that addition, and the obsessive focus on the “T” above all else. However, there is another issue here that is often overlooked which I will elaborate on.

The addition of the “T” in the first place.

There is an emerging battle to separate the “LGB” from the “T” as seen through the establishment of LGB Alliance groups in numerous countries. It is a rational argument - “lesbian,” “gay” and “bisexual” refer to sexual orientation. Sexual orientation is based on and completely centered around biological sex. Hence “same-sex attraction” being the basis of the definition of the three aforementioned sexual orientations. Lesbians are biological females that are sexually attracted to only other biological females. Gays are biological males that are only sexually attracted to other biological males. Bisexuals are males and females that are sexually attracted to both sexes (hence the prefix “bi”).

Transsexual, the “T” in LGBT, is not a sexual orientation. Transsexuals are not “another” or an “other.” There is not a third type of human being. Heterosexual, homosexual and bisexual are sexual orientations - transsexual is not.

The word “transsexual” is a problem in and of itself. Humans cannot change biological sex and this is a well-known, universally understood and accepted fact. A word that insinuates that humans can transform into the other sex is preposterous at worst and misleading at best.

Once you pull one thread, the whole thing starts unraveling. I am continuously seeing a pattern of “information” and “facts” or “research” being based on flimsy data, opinions, ideologies, pseudoscience and in many cases, downright lies.

For example, regarding how to achieve the other objectives of the equal rights movement for same-sex attracted people, which The Equality Project mentions on their website (pictured above), I have a few questions for The Equality Project. Why have you overlooked the issues that gay men and lesbian women face? Why are you not planning conferences and events which focus solely on the rights of girls and women? On your own website you discuss the importance of, and your company’s desire to, apply your “experience and wisdom” to achieving justice for women and girls.

Seeing as girls and women make up the majority of the total population in Australia, and considering that lesbians are girls and women, why is The Equality Project not obsessively focused on the absurd number of serious issues that girls and women face? The math just doesn’t add up (in so many ways). Females account for over 50% of the total population in Australia. On the other hand, out of over 25 million people in Australia, there are less than 2000 “trans” or “gender diverse” people in Australia. So where is the justification for the obsession and near sole focus on apparent issues that oppress (not really) the “T” and, apparently, intersex people, which are even further removed from relevance to “LGB” (sexual orientation). Perhaps women’s rights issues are not as profitable?

The legitimate and real human rights concerns that lesbian and gay Australians face are being watered down and, frankly, being made a mockery of by the obvious agendas of greedy companies looking to profit off of the “major revenue ground” being presented by the sex-reassignment industry along with the corporatization of “Pride,” LGB and T as a brand and the profitable industry of “gender identity” as a whole. The piggy-backing on legitimate human rights issues being done by the “transgender” industry is offensive and cowardly, but it is making a lot of people a lot of money and birthing lucrative and powerful partnerships and sponsorships.

Looks like The Equality Project has found a great way to remain relevant and continue to profit from human rights issues! Lucky that companies like Denton’s and ACON have been able to cement transgender lies within every level of our society.

Australians need to keep a close watch on companies like The Equality Project. The damage they may have already sponsored, profited from, ushered in and promoted will be difficult to recover from, but that is not a reason to allow further damage to be done.
